SHINee’s Minho was one of the guests on KBS2TV’s “Chitchat of Beauties” on the 19th along with his fellow group members, Jonghyun and Onew.

While the beautiful ladies from different countries talked about dating younger men they said, “Guys mature slower so we need to date older men so that our maturity levels are the same.”

Minho responded to this by saying, “That’s prejudice. It’s a stereotype that guys mature slower. It’s not always true. If you dated one, you’d think differently.”

Cute Minho also said, “I know about women. I know that they’re not men,” which made everyone laugh.

A fellow beauty supported Minho by saying, “I’ve always dated men younger than me. I’m more comfortable with younger men or men the same age as me. It makes me feel more powerful.”

Last Friday on the 16th, Mnet announced over it’s website about the cancellation of the MKMF Awards this year. People were caught offguard and left distraught at this sudden announcement.

Mnet finally announced on the 20th about their message, “MKMF has been going on for 10 years but it has come to an end. There will be no more MKMF awards and that is the truth. For the last ten years, MKMF brought unique stages from singers and earned the title of being Korea’s biggest music awards. As a music channel, we feel we need to start something that is different than other awards shows. As of now, we are discussing what we can bring to people.”

Mnet will have an event on the 23rd to mark the end of MKMF and announce their new and final proposal to replace it.

Kim Junho, twin brother of popular group TVXQ’s member Xiah Junsu, is preparing for his singing debut.

It was recently found that Kim Junho has been receiving vocal training from singer The One at a training room in Gangnam, Seoul.

The One also was Xiah Junsu’s vocal training teacher. One representative said, “Xiah Junsu called and asked The One to give his older brother vocal lessons.”

Kim Junho garnered a lot of attention when he appeared on MBC’s ‘Introducing Stars’ Friends’ last year. Kim Junho stands at 188cm and used to be a baseball player on his university’s team. Because of these aspects such as his well sculpted body and good looks, he gained popularity and was chosen as the CF model for a soy milk company. He was put in the spotlight for his resemblance to actor Jo Hanseon.

Kim Junho has already been receiving acting lessons fore three years and has been preparing for his acting debut. He has also stood on stage in a musical.

Xiah Junsu revealed their brotherly love by saying, “I always feel as though my brother is a part of me, so ever since we were little, we’ve never fought,” and “I always tried to concede to him and we used to do sports together when we were little.

Preparations are well under way as 2PM’s Taecyeon and Wooyoung make their way back to their MC positions in SBS’s Inkigayo. After their withdrawal on September 20th, the two will make their comeback with MC Ha Yeonju.

A JYPE representative has stated that no other schedules besides Inkigayo has been planned as of yet. He stated “Inkigayo is a program that we promised to the viewers and fans so we allowed for the two to return as MC’s out of responsibility. Currently, we are not planning any more schedules or appearances for the other members.”

2PM members TaekYeon and WooYoung will return as MC on SBS Inkigayo.
From 18th October, the 2 will resume their MC roles on the show. They will have their comeback as MCs on the show 5 weeks after they left their MC roles on 13th September.
The PD to the show ‘Inkigayo’ revealed on 16th October, “WooYoung and TaekYeon will return as MCs from this week onwards. They will be back to fill up their temporarily empty positions to work with Ha YeonJoo as MCs again.”
Meanwhile, the 2 had left their MC roles on the show following the group’s member JaeBum’s MySpace saga in September. And 2PM performed for the first time as 6 members on Dream Concert on 10th October for the first time.

At 3:10am on the 16th, an intoxicated Kangin crashed into a Taxi in Kangnam, Seoul, and then proceeded by abandoning the car and running away.

In the cab was the driver and 2 passengers. Fortunately, nobody suffered any major injuries.

Although Kangin abandoned the scene of the accident, at 8:50am, he turned himself into the Kangnam Police. It has been reported that his BAC level was at 0.082%, however that was 6 hours after the accident.

A representative for the Police stated:

“We can take into consideration the fact that Kangin confessed, even if it was some time after the incident. However, since he abandoned the scene, we have to consider it as a hit and run. We will investigate further in the afternoon.”

Big Bang will be releasing their third single titled, “Let Me Hear Your Voice” (Koe Wo Kikasete), on November 4th in Japan. But don’t fret VIPs - you don’t have to wait that long, because a short preview has been released! It seems like SM is milking them for all they’re worth.

It has been belatedly revealed that actor Jung Yunho fainted during a shooting. 

On the 12th, Jung Yunho’s facial muscles contracted during the shooting and he was rushed to the hospital. 

On the 15th, one official from ‘Heading To The Ground’ told Money Today Star News that, “As we approached the 70% mark of the drama’s filming, it became apparent that stamina plays a big part.”

The official also said that Jung Yunho, despite being told to rest up after treatment at the hospital, returned to shooting the drama on the 13th. The official went on to say that on top of the weeks of all-night shootings and the stress of the lead role, the controversy of his acting and the mental stress weighed down on Jung Yunho’s state/condition. 

On the other hand, BongGoon (Jung Yunho) and SeungWoo’s (Lee SangYoon) conflict in ‘Heading To The Ground’ is making things interesting.

DongBangShinKi attended the court for an agreement but failed.

TVXQ’s Hero Jaejoong, Micky Yoochun, Xiah Junsu submit today in court, despite the court’s mediation efforts to reach a consensus.

In the past three months, DBSK members and SM Ent attended at the Seoul Central District Court to coordinate the process of the case. The court agreed that both sides should come up with an amicable decision but because of the differences between each other, the agreement did not end the conflict.

For TVXQ “They have the deep feeling that their goal which is changing their work conditions seems to be difficult to reach”.

The court is planning to make a difficult decision for both sides later in the month.

Meanwhile last July 31st, the 3 members of Dong Bang Shin Ki 3 filled an exclusive contract validity suspension and provisional disposition request.

The three members of group TVXQ who have unfair contract dispute with their agency SM Entertainment presented at the court secretly on last October 13th, however had failed to reach agreement with SM. Previously on October 12th, the two side had submitted a final official stand documents that have been required since early this month for review to make final decision.


At the end of July this year, 3 TVXQ members (Jaejoong, Yoochun, and Junsu) filed their disposition application to Seoul Central District Court to terminate the exclusive contract effect against SM Entertainment. Reportedly on July 30th at 4 pm, wearing sunglasses, the members entered hurriedly to the side entrance of the court building. They secretly received report about the trial request date and other information regarding the case was not disclosed. There was no appearance of the fans, and even most of court staffs couldn’t recognize the three members who disguised themselves just like ordinary civilians and they could move without any fuss.

On August 22nd the legal representative of the 3 members forwarded members’ thought to the court, “We found it very difficult to improve and reach our goals in this industry if we live under SM’s management with all its terms and conditions.”. It’s also reported that, “The arguments happened with SM Lee Soo Man regarding this dispute already reached our highest limit of emotion.” Meanwhile the other two members who don’t participate in the legal case and still have listed activities with SM said, “It’s not possible to breakdown a group of 5 people who actually still want to work together.” showing their intention to keep shinning together as a group.

After the failure of yesterday’s mediation between two sides, court won’t summon the 3 members any further and will make its final decision soon.

MBC Drama Series “Heading To The Ground” will take its early ending bell on the 5th next month.

Initially “Heading To The Ground” is agreed to have 20 episodes broadcast time, however it will be cut to only 18 episodes instead.

MBC official on the 14th said “Due to the poor audience rating record, “Heading To The Ground” will be ended early on the 5th next month.” he added, “while as the consequence, Lee Junki’s drama “Heroes” will air a week early on the 11th.”

“Heading To The Ground” is not the first MBC drama whose episodes are cut due to the painful single digit rating.

Meanwhile “Heroes” will have Lee Jun Ki and Kim Min-jung as its main casts .

Brian Joo of famous ex-duo Fly to the Sky that called it quits earlier this year, finally revealed what the real reason behind the breakup was.

On the 13th on SBS Strong Heart, Brian Joo revealed that the initial plan for the duo was to focus on their individual solo activities just for the moment, but “because people spread around that our relationship was dismantled, a misunderstanding was created between us.” He went even further into detail and confessed, “We did the final 8th album as a duet without even looking at each other or meeting.”

“Because of Hwanhee, there were times in life when I even wanted to die,” and, “Since two years ago, Hwanhee and I had an issue. People had spoken strange words, saying that it seemed like our relationship wasn’t good. Both of us hearing only those words, a misunderstanding was created, which caused us to even record our 8th album separately. We didn’t even see each other’s faces.”

He added, “After repressing for a bit, Hwanhee eventually sent me a text that said ‘Watch what you say’. I thought that if I argued back, a big fight would occur so I decided to give it some time, but instead, the anger only deepened. This year’s January has been extremely hard. While drinking with a friend, I even said “I’m going to commit suicide. Do not leave me alone.”“

Amidst all this sad news, there is a happy ending - Brian revealed that the two began to grow closer once again during the recording of SBS Intimate Note earlier this year. He expressed, “During the shooting, I started to think of the old days,” and that, “Hwanhee was the first to approach and say, ‘Don’t listen to the words of anyone else and just trust each other till we die.’ At that moment, I felt so relieved and started to cry.”

Finally, through a video letter, Brian said to Hwanhee, “If I made it hard on you in the past, I’m sorry,” and that, “From now on, I will be by your side watching and supporting you. Hwanhee, I love you.”

Singer Brian Joo has revealed that he once had the idea of committing suicide.

On SBS Strong Heart aired on 13th October, Brian was one of the guest appearances and he talked about how other Fly To The Sky member HwanHee and his relationship became distant, and he had felt lonely that he wished to give up on music and thought of committing suicide.

Brian revealed, “It was true that my relationship with Hwanhee became bad. For our last 8th album, we did promotions without seeing each other’s faces.”

“Because of some of the misunderstanding from the things said by people around us, we grew distant. I even sent text messages to HwanHee saying ‘You better be careful with the things you say’. As time passes, even though I thought any misunderstanding between us will smooth out, it was during the time when our relationship became more stranded.”

He then continued, “But with the opportunity given on SBS ‘Close Note’, we got the chance to recall all the fun memories we had, and I said, ‘Don’t care about others, let’s just believe each other’, we got back on good terms in tears.”

With that Brian did a video message to HwanHee on the show, “I’m sorry for making things tiring for you. I will protect you always. I love you.”
